Applicants must: 

• Be a CST Beneficiary;
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada;
• Be entering or enrolled as a full-time student in an eligible post-secondary undergraduate degree or diploma program at a qualifying Canadian educational institution* for the 2026-27 academic year;
• Demonstrate financial need (considered as a secondary evaluation criteria).

*Qualifying educational institutions include universities, colleges, trade schools, vocational schools, technical schools, as well as distance learning or correspondence learning programs which are either certified by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) or designated under the Canada Student Loans Program of ESDC.
