What is attrition?

If you have a group plan, the term ‘attrition’ refers to the income left in the plan due to a decrease in the number of existing beneficiaries in this group who will qualify to withdraw EAPs. It means that there are fewer beneficiaries sharing the amount of money available for EAPs – and provides you with an increased return and/or payment.
